The Bundesanzeiger Verlag is a traditional yet forward-thinking media company based in Cologne. As a partner of legislation, we operate online platforms for the publication of legally required notices, company data, and registers. In addition, we offer a continuously growing multimedia range in the areas of law, business, and taxes.

Your tasks will include:

  • Ensure smooth operation at the Cologne location as well as in external data centers
  • Support the design and optimization of the existing infrastructure at the location as well as external systems
  • Support license management
  • Ensure IT support for in-house systems (hardware/software and infrastructure)
  • Collaborate with external service providers
  • Support the IT security officer in all certification issues
  • Assist the department management with all upcoming tasks

What we are looking for:

  • Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in the field of IT infrastructure (VMware, Microsoft, SAN)
  • Experience in first/second-level IT support
  • Negotiation skills, commitment, performance and teamwork
  • Analytical and conceptual skills
  • Fluent German language skills (spoken and written) and good English
