We are currently seeking a Financial Accounting Manager (m/f/d) for our client, a trading company in Neumarkt. This is a direct placement opportunity.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of 10 employees in the financial accounting department
  • Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, reconciliation and communication with subsidiary ledgers (accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets)
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB) including documentation for annual audits
  • Conduct financial and liquidity planning in coordination with other departments
  • Prepare regular forecasts and budgets
  • Optimize and digitalize processes and structures in the financial accounting department
  • Coordinate external reporting (VAT returns, Intrastat, ZM, statistics)
  • Act as a competent contact person for internal matters, auditors, tax advisors and tax auditors

Your Profile:

  • Commercial education or degree with several years of experience in financial accounting according to German GAAP (HGB)
  • Experience in financial accounting processes and organization
  • Experience with digitalization of processes in financial accounting and internationalization
  • Leadership experience is desirable
  • Strong numerical understanding and analytical thinking skills
  • Structured and solutionoriented work style with high selfmotivation and excellent
