POSTION OBJECTIVE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage all aspects of private events, from initial inquiry to event execution and followup.
  • Work with clients to plan and customize menus, décor, and event logistics in line with their vision and our restaurant's standards.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverage services.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they meet the restaurant's high standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service to ensure repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as contracts, billing, and event documentation.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote private events and develop event packages.
  • Monitor event budgets, manage expenses, and optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in event planning or management, preferably in a luxury or fine dining environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing highend events.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Detailoriented with a passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Michelin star standards and fine dining etiquette is strongly preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
  • Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
