This role serves as an active business partner to the local Management Team in implementing the organization goals and strategies in all areas of Human Resources.

Leads the communication, culture, talent acquisition, retention, compensation, and performance management initiatives for the site. Champions the human resources/people related activities, celebrations, and initiatives for the site.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

• Leads, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training initiatives, employee relations and surveys to support the organization's human resources compliance and strategies.
• Partners with the Plant Manager and HR Director to champion the communication strategies and initiatives for the site.
• Administers and oversees the administration of human resources programs including, but not limited to, rewards & compensation, health & wellness benefits, performance and talent management, recognition/morale and training & development and development.
• Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends pertaining to retention, labor expenses and KPIS for the site.
• Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Serves as a main HR point of contact for the site pertaining to all Health & Safety related initiatives.
• Manages performance management processes including discipline and termination of employees following company policy.
• Manages the process of constructive and timely performance evaluations and compensation adjustments.
• Partners with the Rewards & Compensation Specialist to complete accurate processes and results in processing the weekly payroll and benefits reconciliations.
• Partners with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to develop, implement and execute recruiting plans for the site.
• Other duties assigned based on the needs of the business.

EDUCATION

• BS/BA in related discipline desired but not required.
• Associate degree and five years of experience in Human Resources for businesses in construction or manufacturing environments
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)

EXPERIENCE

• Solid track record in Human Resources with at least three (3) years of experience.
• 2 + years of manufacturing recruiting experience
• Passion for outstanding customer service
• Excellent communication skills (both written, oral, and listening) as well as a high level of diplomacy and confidentiality will be required

Pay:
$60, $80,000.00 per year

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
