Head of College Admissions Counselor - Dallas, United States - Passion Prep
Description
About Passion Prep:
Passion Prep ) is a national college consulting company that mentors high school students to get accepted into their dream colleges using their passion, strength, and true potential.
Our mission is to help students get accepted into their dream colleges with an emphasis on a healthy mindset. More than 70% of the workforce report unhappiness with their current jobs. As educators, our core mission is to help our students foster their strengths & passions as early as possible to maximize their full potential in college and beyond.
Passion Prep was originally founded by Julie Kim, a USC and Harvard graduate who immigrated from South Korea to the United States at the age of 9. During her high school years, Julie, like many others, struggled with the burden of the college admissions process and copied what everyone else was doing - join a lot of clubs, take a lot of AP & Honors classes, and volunteer 100+ hours - which felt more like "checking" off a box instead of doing something with actual purpose. Instead, by learning through her experiences, Julie found a healthier and more honest way of navigating the college admissions process, which later became the core foundation of our company - the Passion Project System. Using Julie's college admissions strategies and mindset coaching, she and her team helped over thousands of high school students get accepted into their dream Ivy League & Top-tier colleges.
Passion Prep fully embodies that each student is born with a unique set of gifts and talents, and our job as counselors is to help students identify this and take the right action steps toward creating an enjoyable yet successful experience while navigating their college admissions journey.
We are currently mentoring 500+ high school students nationwide and worldwide virtually.
About The Role:
We are seeking a strategic, organized, and experienced former Ivy League & Top 50 College Admissions Officer to work as the Head College Admissions Counselor (full-time) with our students and parents in our Dallas, Texas office.

Why Passion Prep?
We aim to transform the college admissions industry into a less toxic and less stressful environment for students and parents. We are not providing a cut throat to-do list for high school students to get into Ivy League & Top-tier colleges, no matter the cost. Instead, our job is to enable our future generation to identify their true potential, take the right action steps, and use who they really are to get accepted into their dream colleges. If you resonate with our grand vision, we would love to work with you to make a true impact in the college admissions industry.
The Head College Counselor is a full-time position in the Dallas, TX office. The expected pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience. Passion Prep is a collaborative workplace to help you grow both personally and professionally.
