Duties:


  • You will serve a Rigger Supervisor in the Diver Support Branch (Code 970), Production Department (Code 900) in Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), Naval Station
  • Norfolk, Virginia.
  • You will exercise supervisory responsibilities over the work operations and be responsible for supervising workers in accomplishing trades and labor work operations.
  • You will plan weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
  • You will establish deadlines and priorities on the basis f general work schedules, methods, and policies established by higher levels of supervision.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and nonionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
