    Description


    Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, this position will primarily be responsible for Jira administration of the company's Jira Cloud environment.

    Working on a technical team, you'll balance projects and multiple break/fix tickets simultaneously, in a fast paced and highly supportive atmosphere.


    • Manages Jira cloud, including licensing, updates, and custom Jira software installations .
    • Manages Jira users and groups – new users, groups, project roles, permission schemes, deprecated users.
    • Manages customer entry into Jira.
    • Manages Jira security schemes based on established protocols.
    • Assists other Jira project administrators in creating custom workflows, fields, field configurations, issue types, issue type schemes, screens, screen schemes, etc. on a per-project basis.
    • Helps associates create custom filters and reports.
    • Helps associates setup custom Dashboards, Scrum boards, Kanban boards, etc.
    • Manages Jira database cleanliness and background organization.
    • Manages completed Jira projects by utilizing archiving strategies.
    Fill a role as a junior to mid-level Windows Sysadmin.

    • Maintain file/print servers, and application servers in a Windows domain.
    • Administer other technologies within your skillset.
    • Be willing to learn and grow your skills with your team's assistance.
    • Develop and maintain training materials and technical documentation.
    • Working from a ticket queue, keep pace with incoming tickets.
    • Working with your manager and from a project plan, complete projects on time Significant experience with Atlassian Jira required.
    • Working knowledge of core IT infrastructure preferred, but not required, for the right candidate.
    • Strong technical and communication skills with ability to document technical infrastructure.
    • Able to estimate, plan, and organize tasks associated with minimal assistance.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to participate in on-call rotations.
    • Ability to communicate in an understandable and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
