    GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE

    The Co-Manager (CM) plays a crucial role in leading a high-performing team that drives top-line sales growth by embodying Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values. This position oversees all operational aspects of a retail store, working closely with the Operations Manager (OM). It serves as a developmental platform for aspiring leaders.

    As a CM, you will steer your store's success through a three-pronged approach: focusing on performance, people, and process. This entails enhancing sales, service, and expense control, nurturing talent, and ensuring operational efficiency.

    Key responsibilities include promoting a culture of accountability, enhancing team performance, and ensuring operational compliance.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Job Functions)
    • Promote accountability to achieve or surpass sales goals, guest loyalty, and operational standards.
    • Drive profitability by excelling in operations and expense management.
    • Utilize financial and operational reporting to make informed decisions.
    • Lead talent acquisition, training, and development initiatives.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to enhance guest experience.
    • Ensure team adherence to company policies and standards.
    People
    • Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse team of top talent.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
    • Support professional development and training for associates.
    • Lead by example and promote teamwork and operational excellence.
    Process
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Oversee operational processes, including inventory management and scheduling.
    • Protect company assets and minimize loss through strict adherence to standards.
    • Drive store improvements by implementing company initiatives and best practices.
    • Communicate business trends and opportunities to field leadership.
      • JOB QUALIFICATIONS
      Education
      • Bachelor's degree is preferred
      Experience
      • 2-3+ years of fast-paced retail management experience
      • Proficiency in financial and retail management
      • Leadership experience in talent development and change management
      Skills
      • Proficient in basic technology
      • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
      • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
      • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to change
        • SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
        • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
        • Travel required for off-site meetings
        WORKING CONDITIONS
        • Mobility, bending, lifting, and coordination during shifts
        • Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 lbs.

          The pay range is $40.00 / Hour with potential additional compensation based on various factors.
