    JOB TITLE: 4th Grade Teacher

    REPORTS TO: Building Principal

    COMPENSATION: Pays up to $50 per hour

    JOB TYPE: Full-Time

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities. It is not meant to be all-inclusive of every task or responsibility.

    • Teach various subjects for Elementary Students
    • Able to work with students in an elementary/middle school level placement
    • Works cooperatively with all staff and parents
    • Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students
    • Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior
    • Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
    • Strives to implement by instruction and action the district's mission statement.
    • Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation
    • Establish and maintain open basis of communication with students, parents, staff and administration.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Standard Requirements:

    • Favorable Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check for the candidate who is offered employment
    • Tuberculin Test and Physical
    • Mandatory Direct Deposit of paycheck

    Schedule: Monday to Friday

    School type: Charter school

    Ability to commute/relocate: Wilmington, DE 19805: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

    Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)

    Language: English (Preferred)

    License/Certification: Standard Teaching Certification in Delaware (Required)

    Work Location: In person
