    Children and Adolescent Residential Treatment Case Manager

    Our Residential program is family centered, trauma informed, and customizes care for each person we serve. Our Behavioral Interventionists are the key component to making the impact of our work strong
    Our team focuses on observing, supporting, and coaching children and youth with emotional or behavioral problems and disorders such as depression, anxiety, addiction, autism, ADHD, OCD, etc. by helping implement the activities of their treatment plans, maintaining progress reports, and providing daily living support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the RTP Supervisor to maintain consistent treatment for clients in the RTP, the local community, and the client's home community when applicable.
    • Facilitate the transition of clients from the Residential Treatment Programs to less restrictive placements in partnership with the treatment team.
    • Develop and deliver services to help clients access necessary resources and support, including medical, social, educational, vocational, housing, and financial services.
    • Maintain communication with other professional service providers for case reviews and consultations.
    • Create treatment plans and deliver services or arrange for their delivery as identified by the treatment team.
    • Assist in establishing natural support networks for children and youth experiencing severe emotional disturbances and their families.
    • Help clients and their families access community resources.
    • Participate in treatment and educational team meetings as directed by the RTP Director.
    • Collaborate with schools, the Department of Children and Families, and other relevant agencies providing services to children and youth with severe emotional disturbances.
    • Provide weekly case management and specialized rehabilitation summaries.
    • Attend staff meetings as required by the organization.
    • Be prepared to physically restrain children and youth when they pose a danger to themselves or others and learn crisis de-escalation and passive restraint techniques.
    • Effectively problem-solve and manage crisis situations.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with school staff as directed by the RTP Director.
    • Provide on-call coverage for assigned Residential Treatment Programs in collaboration with the RTP Supervisor/Clinical Manager.
    • Compile, collate, and report all required program data as assigned.
    • Coordinate, monitor, and document all health-related services provided to assigned clients.
    • Attend and ensure staff coverage at all client psychiatric appointments.
    • Manage client medication systems at all assigned Residential Treatment Programs.
    • Oversee RTP transition cases as assigned.
    • Complete all necessary clinical paperwork for assigned clients.
    • Attend and co-facilitate staff meetings at assigned Residential Treatment Programs.
    • Maintain regular contact with foster homes providing services to an RTP or RTP transition client.
    • Collaborate with the RTP Supervisor/Clinical Manager to ensure a crisis plan is in place for each client.
    • Willingly attend and provide training to RTP staff.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
    • Experience working with youth exhibiting challenging behaviors.

    Preferred:

    • Master's Degree with credentials such as:
      • Board Certified Behavior Analyst
      • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician
      • Licensed Social Worker
      • Licensed Psychologist
    • Completion of necessary coursework or enrollment in an academic program leading to the above credentials.
    • 5 years of experience providing therapeutic services and supervision in a residential setting.

    Successful Candidate Will:

    • Interact positively with assigned youth.
    • Adapt to the dynamic needs of clients and be flexible in responding to day-to-day events in a child's life.
    • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
    • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Be open to flexible work hours.
    • Possess a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
    • Have access to a safe, reliable, and adequately insured vehicle.
    • Ideally, have experience providing direct instruction and therapeutic services to children with challenging behaviors.
