SUMMARY:
Coordinate the development and implementation of department programs and provide expanded academic opportunities for students.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage student data, successfully using ad hoc reports and enrollment data.
  • Oversee LMS integration for course offerings.
  • Oversee fulltime and parttime summer school enrollments.
  • Manage online iSchool summer school.
  • Oversee state testing.
  • Support building course content.
  • Coordinate teacher course enrollment.
  • Coordinate with Administrative Secretary II on registration process and protocols.
  • Communicate the vision of the programs to participating schools, staff, partnering agencies, parents and the community.
  • Facilitate and coordinate programs within the District and with community partners.
  • Ensure consistently high quality programs by monitoring work performance, performing training functions and maintaining records.
  • Collaborate with staff and school administrators to develop and implement program goals, objectives and services to support the academic achievement of students.
  • Collaborate with staff and community partners to facilitate parent education and implementation of activities designed to support student achievement.
  • Keep parents and community informed of programs.
  • Act as liaison with vendors.
  • Collect and compile statistical and financial data and other information for end of year reports.
  • Review and proof documents, records and forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Report status and progress of assigned tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Assist with a variety of administrative duties by facilitating communications between supervisors and staff, and arrange and schedule a variety of meetings.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors.
  • Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding and knowledge of District technology systems, including Learning Management Systems, Student Management Systems and course content integrations.
  • Other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:


  • Three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience involving frequent contact with the public.
  • Experience in K12 public education.
  • Experience working with vendors, school staff, parents and community members.

COMPUTER SKILLS:


  • Demonstrated competency in computer literacy, Word and Excel.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:


  • Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (
    IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).

KNOWLEDGE OF:


  • Standard practices, methods and materials of assigned work.
  • Techniques and methods for organizing, prioritizing and monitoring work.
  • Business math concepts.
  • Filing and recordkeeping principles.
  • Applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations.

Positions in this class typically require: balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.


Light Work:

Working Conditions:
