1st & 2nd Shift Grinder - Greenville, United States - Kent Foundry

Description

Grinding:

Cut off any gating and risers, then grind the castings smooth (parting lines, fins, etc.) to customer specifications.


Inspection:
All grinders are inspectors of the parts they grind. If you see something wrong, you will get your supervisor or lead man to decide if you should continue to grind


Forklifts:
Most grinders are licensed to operate forklifts.


Other General Requirements:

Standing up to 10 hours per day, excluding 20 minute break and 30 minute lunch period.

Lifting up to 125 lbs. from 20 inch level 10 to 75 times a day, up to 75 lbs. from 20 inch level up to 300 times per day.

Carrying up to 70 lbs. for 25 ft. several times a day.

Twisting upper body parts, 15 to 30 degrees up to 30 times per day.

Reaching up to 100 times a day doing various tasks.

Squatting up to 100 times a day doing various tasks.
