As a packaging technologist, you will set up technically demanding, often computer-controlled machines, equip them for punching, gluing and finishing, plan material requirements and ensure a smooth production process. The job is also creative: you can use CAD software to develop and produce environmentally friendly and innovative packaging. In particular, the consumer goods industry is increasingly demanding in terms of functionality and design of packaging. In addition, packaging technologists are also employed in quality control and production planning.
