    Job Description


    Job Summary: Transport products to designated locations with care and high level of professionalism.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • The driver will start and end the day at our depot.
    • Receive daily work assignments from the operations team.
    • Pickup and deliver pallets to customers daily (live or drop/hook).
    • Stay in contact with operations regarding customer interactions (arrival, departure, load info, issues, etc.).
    • Adjust trailer tandem and secure wheels at customer sites and depot.
    • Physically inspect cargo post-loading at customer sites.
    • Ensure accuracy of Bill of Lading (shipper, consignee, quantity, etc.).
    • Submit paperwork to the depot (BOLs, fuel receipt, maintenance receipts, etc.).
    • Enter all relevant data into the ELD.
    • Refuel and top up fluids as needed.
    • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer daily.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

    Job Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Class A commercial driver's license.
    • Valid medical card.
    • Proficient in operating an automatic tandem tractor and pulling 53-foot trailers.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work takes place indoors in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and operational machinery. The role predominantly involves road travel in a truck. Physical requirements include lifting up to 10 lbs, pushing and pulling up to 12 lbs, consistent standing and carrying, adequate hearing, vision, and verbal communication capabilities, and willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, goggles, or face shields.
