About The Position
This is an on-site position. The employee will be required to undergo a government background check. Active Public Trust Clearance is preferred, but not required.


About The Project

Salary Range

Responsibilities

  • Hold regular meetings with 4DBio3 director, associate directors, and scientific staff to discuss project progress, challenges, and questions on upcoming phases (no less than quarterly)
  • Oversee and review monthly budget reports and budget forecasts to ensure that projects remain financially healthy
  • Review financial transactions in Jamis to ensure accuracy; identify and resolve any discrepancies in the project financial data
  • Prepare timely financial documentation
  • Communicate financial data to 4DBio3 director, associate directors, USU leadership, and various other stakeholders
  • Create visual representations of complex numbers and financial data to include charts, tables and graphs to convey information in an understable way at every level of stakeholder financial literacy
  • Assist with presentations for required review and approval processes, to include public affairs office review at USU
  • Manages and monitor project budgets for compliance in accordance to sponsors'

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience with financial analysis and making recommendations to stakeholders
  • At least 5 years working directly with assistance agreements and contracts
  • At least 2 years of experience with DoD financial, budget, and cost analysis reports
  • Demonstrated understanding of the research administration process
  • Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance [2 CFR 200] and its predecessors OMB Circulars A110, A21, A133, A122; and FAR
  • Good mathematical and excel skills

$80, $102,000.00 per year
