Position Description

  • The
    Program Manager of the Terry Brenneis & David Boger Hub for Long-Term Survivors Program will be responsible for the direct management and oversight of all programming occurring with the hub, which includes, but is not limited to: The David Boger program and the I'm Still Here (AIDS Survivor Syndrome) Program. This position will be responsible for the management and oversight of any new programming that is funded and housed within the Hub. In addition, this position is responsible for providing direct supervision to the LTS Peer Educator, LTS Specialist, and volunteers.
Essential Job Functions

The following duties are mandatory requirements of the job:

  • Provide direct supervision to the Peer Educator, and Program Specialist.
  • Cofacilitate assigned training modules, with peers and other staff, as needed, as well as weekly LTS Hub Events/activities.
  • Ensure proper facilitation of all modules related to the LTS Hub
  • Ensure proper documentation of service delivery, incentive distribution, and other documentation, is completed and in compliance with funders and agency requirements.
  • Schedule and lead debriefing of workshops & review of surveys, with appropriate staff, to determine areas of improvement, as needed.
  • Assist in the timely completion of interim reports, annual reports, and other reports required by partners.
  • Identify internal and external services for referrals to further support Hub clients.
  • Assist in the development of programmatic policies and procedures.
  • Identify speakers and guests for webinars, as appropriate and based on program.
  • Schedule all activities, including but not limited to virtual and inperson activities, as appropriate.
  • Ensure programmatic activities are compliant with all funder requirements.
  • Develop flyers and promotional documents, in collaboration with Communications, to promote programmatic services.
  • Submit board bullets, of programmatic activity, as required.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee programs Dashboard (grant performance data collection and tracking) and implement necessary corrective action plans and/or quality improvement plans when needed to meet program deliverables.
  • Promote LTS Hub services at GMHC and external community events.
  • Work closely with the Analytics & Evaluation team to ensure accurate data management, and retrieval for agency wide Continuous Quality Improvement projects.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education and Certification

  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, including or supplemented by twelve semester credits in health education, or in health, social or biological sciences.
  • Master's degree preferred.
Special Skills and Knowledge

  • Deep professional understanding of the needs of the LGBT community aging with HIV.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organized, meticulous and knowledgeable of programs and services for LGBTQ+ aging with HIV.
  • Exceptional knowledge of HIV, its progression, and relayed complications.
  • Friendly and personable interpersonal style with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with clients, GMHC staff and external partners.
