As part of the expansion of the Waldgruppe Wurzelkinder in Langenreute, a new independent facility is being created, which will be expanded to include a forest nursery group. The WaldKiTa will thus include a forest nursery group for children aged 2-3 and a forest group for children aged 3-6. The current location will be supplemented with a new construction trailer for the nursery group.

Your responsibilities:

  • The opening hours for the existing group for children over 3 years old are from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm, 5 days a week.
  • The new nursery group is expected to have the same opening hours, but for a 4-day week.
  • The pedagogical work is characterized by the annual cycle in nature and is designed to be varied with spontaneous forest and meadow adventures.
  • For familiarization, we follow the Berlin model.

We are looking for:

  • Degree as a state-recognized educator, elementary educator, or pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) according to § 7 KiTaG
  • Planning, organizing, and implementing daily pedagogical work with a focus on nature in the elementary area (2-6 years old)
  • Enjoyment of working in and with nature
  • Motivation and interest
