    E.R.

    Carpenter, LP., a Petrochemical located in Pasadena, TX has an opening for an Instrument Technician to join our Maintenance Department.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Repairs control instruments;
    • Troubleshoots electrical interlocks;
    • Performs preventive maintenance;
    • Checks and recalibrates instruments;
    • Performs material take offs for instrumentation and electrical projects;
    • Functions in maintenance capacity.

    EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:


    Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience preferred; candidates must have good math and mechanical aptitudes; individuals must be able to function independently with infrequent supervision.

    Must have good understanding of electrical theory; experience with all types of instrumentation, including electrical and pneumatic, preferably in the chemical plant industry.

    Requires ability to run conduit and tubing.

    Instrumentation NCCER Certification required

    Pre-employment Drug Testing required.
