MD Anderson is looking to hire Patient Services Coordinators for the Inpatient Operations team!

Inpatient Operations at MD Anderson has a dedicated staff of over 2,200 employees who provide support for various units and services including surgical, medical, hematology, pediatric, and specialty units. The inpatient population is accommodated in our Texas Medical Center location with more than 680 beds.

The main role of the Patient Services Coordinator is to manage all tasks related to patient services, making a significant impact on patient care services at MD Anderson.

  • Schedule provider appointments, tests, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain daily appointment templates and patient records in One Connect.
  • Communicate information to families, physicians, and team members.
  • Prepare patient materials and documentation.
  • Collect co-payments, verify patient insurance, and update patient information.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements:

Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required: Three years of relevant work experience. Education may be substituted for experience on a one-to-one basis.

Successful completion of pre-employment skills test administered by Human Resources is required.
