Aperion Care - Director of Business Development
SUMMARY:
The Director of Business Development oversees the strategic vision, marketing operations, customer relations, and census management activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee, prepare, and audit ongoing Action Plans for each building in the assigned territory.
- Maintain knowledge of facility admissions requirements, services, and facilities.
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate marketing programs to increase census and provide community information.
- Assist in developing marketing policies, establishing rapport between departments, and scheduling meetings with hospital Directors.
- Build relationships, seek new business opportunities, and implement marketing strategies.
- Identify specialty programs, potential physicians, and execute marketing initiatives.
- Manage liaisons in the territory, maintain collateral, and collect data for hospital sharing.
- Develop and implement plans for short and long-term census goals.
- Act as a liaison to professional staff and fulfill other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role within the industry preferred.
- Demonstrated success in relationship-building, business management, and revenue growth.
- Strong communication skills for presentations and travel within assigned territory.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to move intermittently and handle mental and emotional stress.
- Ability to work independently, relate to residents, and manage physical demands.
- Capable of lifting 25 pounds to a height of 5 feet and moving it a minimum distance of 50 feet.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
