As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Engineer to join our dedicated team.

    Position Overview: The Building Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of our high-end commercial office complex at Cypress Waters. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background in building systems, equipment maintenance, and facility management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Equipment Maintenance:
      • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
      • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
      • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and services.
    2. Preventive Maintenance:
      • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment.
      • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
      • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
    3. Safety and Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and building codes.
      • Conduct safety inspections and address any issues to maintain a secure working environment.
      • Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend improvements to enhance building safety.
    4. Emergency Response:
      • Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide quick resolutions to minimize disruptions.
      • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of emergency protocols and procedures.
    5. Tenant Interaction:
      • Interact professionally with tenants to address maintenance concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
      • Communicate effectively with property management and other relevant departments.
    Qualifications
    • 3+ years of experience in building maintenance, with a focus on high-end commercial properties.
    • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
    • Technical certifications or licenses in relevant areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical).
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
