    Logistics Coordinator

    **POSITION SUMMARY:**

    This position will coordinate the Receiving, Material Handling, and Shipping Department in Calexico California directed by the Warehouse manager in Mexicali. The core responsibility of the position will be to coordinate daily operation, conduct Cycle counting, maintain KPIs, monitor receipts are made in timely fashion and provide support to shipping department helping scheduling pick ups, deducting material from SAP and providing documents of shipments as required. The logistics coordinator is responsible for effective resource planning, cycle count accuracy, and proper material handling techniques.

    **RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    + Ensures materials are received and are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.

    + Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.

    + Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

    + Performs daily cycle counts, posts inventory counts as applicable, and helps resolve discrepancies

    + Ensures the efficient operation of the function in coordination with employees.

    + Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities.

    + Ensures materials are available to meet production and Global Service schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.

    + Travel may be required

    + Other duties as assigned

    **WORK ENVIRONMENT:**

    + Primarily works in a shipping & warehousing environment which may be noisy and fast paced. Because of the nature of the product being produced

    **QUALIFICATIONS** **:**

    + Ability to present ideas in a clear and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.

    + Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand, product description, and material demand.

    + Ability to organize, schedule, coordinate, and negotiate effectively and to set priorities in a manner which ensures maximum performance and goal accomplishment.

    + Good understanding of SAP and the ability to apply logistics processes.

    + Good PC skills, including Excel, Word, MS Standard Office.

    + Strong organizational skills.

    + Ability to work with several projects simultaneously.

    + Ability to collaborate and involve others in decision-making and problem-solving

    **EXPERIENCE:**

    + 1-3 years of experience in a store room, warehousing, shipping, or other logistic processes, or experience as a Planner, Buyer, or other closely related field

    + Experience with proper handling of static sensitive material preferred.

    + Experience with MRP systems and SAP preferred

    **EDUCATION:**

    + BS in Business Administration, Production/Operations Management (or closely related field) or a combination of relevant experience and/or education that is equivalent to a Bachelors Degree

    + APICS CPIM Certification Preferred.

    + Six-Sigma Green Belt certification desired

    **COMPENSATION:**

    _As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $55,000 to $75,000 per year._
