    Role SummaryRole:

    Senior Vehicle Dynamics Control EngineerLocation: Sunnyvale, CA.We are looking for a Senior Vehicle Dynamics Control Engineer to join our growing team.

    You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing advanced control algorithms that enhance the dynamic behavior of our products.

    You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and apply your expertise to improve vehicle dynamics control, handling, and overall performance, with a particular emphasis on electric motor control and brake system control for vehicle drivetrain applications.

    Your role will also include working with and driving suppliers to ensure the successful integration of cutting-edge technologies.

    Responsibilities:
    Oversee development, develop and implement state-of-the-art control algorithms that optimize vehicle dynamics and behavior.

    Integrate control algorithms with vehicle hardware and software systems to improve vehicle stability, handling, and safety, particularly in the context of electric drivetrains.

    Work closely with suppliers, driving the development of cutting-edge technologies, ensuring successful integration, and maintaining effective supplier relationships.

    Plan, conduct, and analyze vehicle testing to validate control system performance, making adjustments as necessary for optimal results, especially related to drivetrain and brake system control.

    Utilize simulation tools to model and test control algorithms, and iterate to refine and improve system behavior for electric drivetrains.

    Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure the seamless integration of control systems with vehicle components, particularly in the context of vehicle drivetrain applications.

    Stay current with the latest advancements in vehicle dynamics control, especially as they relate to electric drivetrains and brake systems, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.


    Qualifications:


    Master's or higher degree in Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of proven track record in the development and implementation of vehicle control systems shipped in customer products, with specific experience in electric motor control and brake system control.

    Proficiency in simulation tools and software commonly used in vehicle dynamics control, such as MATLAB/Simulink or similar platforms.

    Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and fine-tune control algorithms, particularly in the context of electric drivetrains.

    Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
    Supplier management experience.

    Passion for vehicle dynamics and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive technology, particularly in the realm of electric drivetrains.
