Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Registrar.

As a Patient Registrar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical registration process.

Your primary responsibility will be to accurately register patients, collect and input necessary information, and provide exceptional customer service at our fast-paced endoscopy suite.

Duties:

• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the facility
• Register patients by collecting and verifying personal and insurance information
• Enter patient data into the electronic medical records system
• Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
• Provide administrative support by maintaining patient records, filing documents, and updating information as necessary
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient registration
• Follow established protocols for handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical records management and electronic medical records systems
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Experience with EMR software or systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients
• Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, such as insurance verification and billing processes
• Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of front desk operations, including phone systems and patient portal management

We offer competitive pay and benefits for this full-time position based on experience and qualifications. You'll never be required to work on weekends, nights, or major holiday's. The hours for this position range from 6:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
