We are currently seeking a SharePoint Configuration Specialist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).
The SharePoint Admin/Configuration Specialist performs analysis on relevant information from a variety of sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper format of the information provided.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as client's primary SharePoint Administrator/SME on unclass and classified networks
- Lead a division SharePoint revamp initiative to consolidate all site collections into 11 site collections following a hub structure
- Implement enhancements to a SharePoint Power Apps/Power Automate solution per customer requests
- Respond to adhoc SharePoint customer requests/tickets
- Build customer power platform solutions to enhance process automation
- Support an upcoming migration from SP 2013 to O365 on classified network
- Brief weekly status updates to Unit Chief (GS15) and Supervisor (GS13) in a clear and succinct way
- Train customers on SharePoint basics
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- SharePoint 201
- SP Online/O36
- Power Apps
- Power Platform
- Clear verbal and written communication and able to explain in a nontechnical way to customers
- Comfortable briefing GS15+ level clients
- Collaborate across teams/units
- Requirements gathering
- Critical/Strategic thinking to address a project/issue
- Effective time management (able to hold themselves accountable to deadlines) and ability to work in fast past environment
- Experience using the Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience/Knowledge of SP Online/O365 and SP 2013/201
- Experience of SP Hub Structure vs Parent/Child structure
- Ability to review, interpret, and evaluate complex legal and nonlegal documents.
- Ability to use Java Script and HTML for customized solutioning.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in configuration management and development of operational systems to include SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, and Office 365 products.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in leading complex SharePoint projects and automation configuration efforts.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with gathering customer requirements, interaction with multiple stakeholder groups, and ability to prioritize and communicate project status updates.
- Minimum 5 years of Data Analytical experience on data management activities as well as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Access, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Active Top Secret Clearance
