Description

The
GigaGuide will be the main interface for home builders and subscribers in residential communities. The
GigaGuide will be responsible for installing, preparing, and troubleshooting fiber optic cables and systems for Centric Fiber customers.

RESPONSBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

Provide customer assistance, education and information on services, customer equipment and products.
Performs residential and commercial installation of internet, phone, and cable services.
Troubleshoot and fix service issues.
Take appropriate action to expedite workflow to consistently meet customer appointments and company commitments.
Interface with customer and technical service departments to collaborate on subscriber issues, develop troubleshooting and corrective action plans, work scheduling, and ticket clearing.
Install, service, disconnect, change, or reconnect telephony and modem equipment, serving customer residences.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with all applicable company procedures and in compliance with all municipal, state, and federal laws and guidelines.
Participate in community and company social media outlets monitor company commentary, respond to complaints and accolades, monitor community happenings.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years of related telecommunications or mass media experience.
Previous Customer Service experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
Must have the ability to work effectively with a team in a fastpaced environment.
Up to 100% local market travel and up to 10% travel to all markets in Texas.

Preferred Qualifications**:

Prefer collegelevel training in telecommunications or mass media.

Physical Demands/Work Environment**:

Job requires employee to sit and stand for extended periods of time, lift objects up to 50 lbs, grasp, carry, walk, climb, speak, and listen.
Work is performed mostly in a controlled office environment; however, work may be performed in customer's homes as well. This includes installing services in attics or tightly confined spaces.
