Description
Performs all cleaning duties on revenue, non-revenue vehicles and facilities. Perform all appropriate duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

2nd Shift Sunday-3:30pm-12:00am

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Days off Tuesday & Wednesday


Examples of Duties:


  • Shift & Park Buses
  • Assist in the operation of the service lane
  • Check and report all safety and mechanical problems identified to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • General cleaning of vehicles & building as required.
  • Responsible for janitorial and recycling duties

Qualifications:


  • Valid & current Connecticut driver's license
  • The ability to clean vehicles, the building and ground
  • Experience and proficient in operating heavy duty commercial vehicles and buses
  • The ability to understand written and oral instructions
  • The necessary skills to service buses and non-revenue vehicles
  • The ability to operated buses through the bus wash and park them in the storage barn/assigned areas
  • The ability to operate steam cleaner, floor scrubber, floor sweeper and fork truck
