Home Health and Hospice Office Manager, Full Time in Tinley Park, IL. Providence at Home is a Joint Commission accredited and celebrating 30 years of home-based services.
This is not a remote position.

Schedule Available:

Monday - Friday during normal business hours.

Summary of essential job functions:

Assist with billing, and patient care management through timely and accurate data entry and system reporting.
Verify Insurance Benefits for Home Health, Hospice, Palliative referrals for both Illinois and Indiana offices.
Prepare monthly Recertification Due report and distribute to Home Health Intake staff, clinical supervisors and monitor the report to assess if patients recertified or discharged.
Work with accounting in resolving any discrepancies in month end reports they discover.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.
Prepare daily census report and weekly and monthly admissions reports.
Prepare quarterly credit balance reports.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of 12 years' experience, at least one of which in the area of home health, hospice and/or healthcare setting.
Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete the orientation program.
