    Description

    Registered Nurse- Inpatient - Sr. Mary Corwin

    • $8,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates
    • Opportunity for increasing compensation through the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP)
    • Shift differentials up to 26% available for weekday and weekend nights and 15% for weekend day shifts
    • Work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups
    • Provide clinical leadership and assume relief charge duties as designated
    • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families in accordance with hospital standards
    • Collaborate with healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations, including discharge planning and patient/family teaching
    • Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and protocols
    • Identify and report/correct environmental conditions and/or situations that may put a patient at undue risk
    • Encourage patients to actively participate in their own care by asking questions and reporting treatment or situations that they don't understand or may "not seem right"

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of nationally-accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred
    • RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement with NM required
    • Certifications required: CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers or Professional Rescuers within 30 days of hire, PALS within 6 months, Basic Arrhythmia within 1 year, Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months, and Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire

    Physical Requirements:

    • Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
    • Requires handling of hazardous materials and personal protective equipment
