As a Prairie Hill Project Developer - Land Scout (m/f/d) for Wind Energy, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new wind energy projects for our company.

This includes identifying and analyzing potential areas for new wind farms, assessing project risks and evaluating feasibility, establishing initial contact with key stakeholders, and laying the foundation for successful implementation of our wind energy projects.

We are currently seeking a new team member to join us at our location in Osnabrück.

Prowind GmbH is an owner-managed group specializing in the national and international development of renewable energy projects since our founding year in 2000.

To date, we have successfully completed projects with a total capacity of over 300 megawatts.

Your responsibilities will include:

Analyzing planning areas such as counties and municipalities for potential new wind parks through online research, GISbased data analysis, and establishing contact with local and regional planners and political decisionmakers
Evaluating the potential success of wind energy areas by identifying potential risk factors such as planning permission, land security, and profitability
Making initial contact with landowners via phone to generate interest in collaborating with us
Creating maps and documents to present the opportunities and risks of your project
Regular exchange of expertise within your team for joint strategy and solution development, as well as collaboration with other departments to handle more complex issues
Proactively staying informed about the impact of current regulations and legal decisions in the wind energy sector
