The Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining a cohesive marketing presence for Diamond State Financial Group.

Responsibilities include managing the creation of corporate marketing materials and social media campaigns, maintaining our website, and working with the event coordinator and advisors to promote client events.

The Marketing Specialist will need to keep accurate records of budgeting/expenses, lead generation and strategy data. Why become a Marketing Specialist?

Characteristics of a Marketing Specialist

  • This position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate efficiently with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Work requires extreme attention to detail in such things as writing and editing materials, following the Company's brand guide and standards, reporting to supervisors and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit DSFG Website as needed
  • Create brand awareness and consistency with the DSFG Brand
  • Create firm and advisorspecific marketing materials
  • Maintain corporate marketing pieces, including tracking use and reordering printed materials
  • Develop Social Media campaigns
  • Assist all departments with consistent DSFG branding
  • Connect with advisors on ongoing marketing needs
  • Work with Compliance on approval of all marketing materials
  • Maintain and distribute weekly newsletter & quarterly whitepapers
  • Create and track approval of press releases (events, new hires, awards)
  • Provide weekly project updates to Management and report quarterly on marketing budget
  • Assist with corporate events and advisors' client events
  • Maintain marketing calendar to include social posts, correspondence, meetings, events, etc.
  • Develop other marketing initiatives for the firm and advisors
  • Discover lead generation opportunities and track prospect to client followup
  • Work with suppliers of visual art, promotional items, and other relevant products and services

Education, Training & Experience Expected for Marketing Specialist:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred; Associate Degree, technical certification in related field, or minimum five-year career history in marketing required
  • 5 years marketing experience with background in financial/legal companies preferred
  • Social media savvy
  • Strong technology skills (Adobe creative suite, Microsoft office suite)

Pay:
$45, $60,000.00 per year
