- Support the vision and quality standards for Disability Residential Services (DRS): Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL), Personal Support Services (PSS), which includes, but is not limited to: Specialized Community Supports, Unit-Based Services, Host Homes, and the Altair ACO
- Support PSS to meet CQL accreditation standards
- Support the implementation of best practice quality standards that lead to exceptional service to people supported
- Provide coaching, engagement, and training initiatives to teams on required best practices and compliance initiatives
- Manage and maintain quality databases to monitor and track line of service quality and compliance practices
- A baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
- A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; or
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and
- Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications of a designated manager.
- 2 years of experience in training, supervisory or managerial capacity is required
- Experience training groups of people
- Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership skills
- Inter-rated interviewer with CQL or internally (required to obtain after hire)
- Ability to observe, listen and respond with dignity and respect
- Comfortable speaking in large groups
- Ability to accept/follow through with the direction
- Elevated computer skills
- The creative team member who can suggest and implement strategies to enhance the service
- Ability to exhibit patience, self-control, flexibility, and to recognize boundaries
- A driver's license is required
- Reliable and insured personal vehicle required
- Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance is required
- Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required
