The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking a candidate for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) at our location in Ulm, starting on September 1st, 2024.

The vocational school is located in Ehingen (Donau).

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

Working with mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Programming, installing, and testing modern hardware and software components
Diagnosing and troubleshooting errors and malfunctions
Learning how to expertly fix issues
Ensuring that our trains are always ready for use
Maintaining and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls in our vehicles, such as information displays, doors, and monitoring systems

Your profile:

You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education
You have a strong understanding of math and physics
You are skilled in handson work and enjoy tinkering in your free time
You are passionate about vehicles and technology
You have a careful and reliable work ethic
