Duties:

Implements, administers, and coordinates information technology (IT) acquisition efforts for the assigned portfolio
Analyzes and defines data requirements and specifications leading to the design and development of databases
Plans, organizes, and manages complex IT projects; exercising responsibility for plan and schedule development, estimating requirements, defining milestones, deliverables, deadlines, completion timeframes, and more

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Statement of Employment & Financial Interest required prior to appointment.

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.

Attention to Detail exercises direct accountability for analyzing and refining systems requirements;
Oral Communication articulates and communicates to contractor project managers, the assignment, project, or problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, deadlines and timeframes for completion

AND Have at least 1 full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience with project management in planning, procurement, execution, and completion of a project
Experience in analyzing data requirements, data standards and policies; or IT architecture

NOTE:

In order to qualify for this position, your experience MUST be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.

There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position.

Customer Service oversees the planning, implementation, and administration of secure workstations
Oral Communication advises and assists other IT Specialists
Problem Solving serves as a Subject Matter Expert in data management and cybersecurity

AND Have at least 1 full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience with project management in planning, procurement, execution, and completion of a project
Experience with new and emerging information systems cybersecurity trends, developments, and issues
Experience advising and consulting with endusers in their identification and evaluation of functions
Experience understanding database management, data standards and cloud technologies

NOTE:

There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
