    POSITION:
    Welder/Fabricator


    DAY SHIFT:
    Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (frequent OT on Friday and/or Saturday)


    PAY RATE:
    $ per hour (DOE)

    Other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALITIESPerform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove weldsFit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weldPerform measurements within specified tolerancesExhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.

    General knowledge of equipment and operations.
    Basic understanding of Weld symbolsUnderstand and follow oral and written directions.
    Read a tape measure (imperial and metric).Accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
    Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
    Be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
    Make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
    Be dependable and trustworthy.
    Embrace and demonstrate the qualities of the TrueNorth Steel Game Changer definition.
    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE1-2 year(s) of welding experience preferred.
