- Modify or create electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, PLC and DCS I/O drawings, instrument loop diagrams, electrical equipment arrangement drawings, cable tray layout drawings, CCS (Cable and Conductor Schedule), instrument lists, instrument installation details, electrical equipment and instrument specifications, conduit routing drawings, panel layout drawings and assembly details.
- Develop 2-dimensional drawings and advanced 3-dimensional modeling.
- Perform field walk-downs, locating reference drawings, preparing specifications, obtaining quotes for E&I items, writing Electrical and Instrument sections of scope of work.
- Must have a good working knowledge of power distribution, motor control, instrumentation, wire & cable sizing, NEC requirements, etc. with 5 -7years of experience preferred.
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrument/Controls Technology or demonstrated proficiency in Electrical or Instrumentation Design in lieu of degree.
- 2D and 3D CAD experience
- Experience in the Chemical Process or related industries with the working knowledge of E&I equipment and systems design.
