Pineapple Contracts first opened its doors in 1975.

The family-owned business, founded by William Hathorn, started out manufacturing pine furniture for retail and operated under the name "Pine Productions".


In 1987, Pine Productions shifted its focus to the healthcare furniture market, as there was a demand for durable, safe, and long-lasting furniture that avoided the institutional look that was common at the time.

With this new direction came a new name, and we became simply 'Pineapple'.


Today, Pineapple is a global company with headquarters in Kent, UK and branches in France, Germany, and the USA, still operating under its original ethos and employing over 130 staff worldwide.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


SALES

  • Answering incoming calls
  • Managing the live chat function on the website
  • Processing tenders and monitoring various platforms for new tenders
  • Completing sales/data management tasks in GoldVision
  • Entering new potential customers into GoldVision
  • Conducting research and compiling lists of leads/relevant contacts/new customers for the sales team
  • Creating quotes
  • Generating order confirmations
  • Assisting the sales team with adhoc requests

MARKETING

  • Translating and proofreading marketing materials and other content (including GoldVision translations)
  • Preparing emails and mail merges
  • Preparing and posting LinkedIn updates and other social media updates as needed
  • Managing the exhibition calendar and organizing trade shows (
