What to expect:


  • As a Transport Network Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for the independent and autonomous planning and project management of large network expansion measures in the transport network (fibre, DWDM, DOCSIS, MESN, IP, and/or O&M as well as mobile edge (SecGW, RNC, BSC)) as the basis for all access networks (mobile, cable, DSL, BSA) and customer types (fixed & mobile, consumer & enterprise & carrier).
  • You will plan and project transport solutions for customer projects as well as measures in the transport network with a focus on e2e performance (latency, bandwidth, etc.), cost reduction (CAPEX, OPEX, and quality improvement) in close coordination with other planning groups.
  • You will be responsible for the development and implementation of network expansion strategies and planning concepts.
  • You will independently and autonomously plan and coordinate measures within transformation projects in the transport network.
  • You will be responsible for creating and reviewing requirements for processes, planning, and documentation tools.
