Customer Service Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will answer customer queries, resolve issues via appropriate channels, and maintain assigned customer accounts. This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.


Key Responsibilities**:


  • Enter customer purchase orders with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Reviews backlog reporting to ensure orders are being shipped and billed in a timely manner
  • Track order fulfillment progress and proactively communicate exceptions to customer
  • Provide product and pricing availability to customers
  • Maintain and update customer portals/dashboards with order status
  • Answers customer service phone calls, addresses all inquiries
  • Ability to work and achieve established results with limited supervision
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Collaborate with internal functional areas on order confirmation, expedites, escalations and other issues, ensuring proactive, consistent, and timely communication to the customer.
  • Participate in and/or lead customer meetings providing order status updates
  • Identifies solutions to increase efficiencies within departmental functions
  • Other key responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years customer service experience

Skill Requirements:


  • Proficient in Excel & Word skills required
  • Oracle or equivalent sales order processing systems experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal & external customers
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
