    Job Title: Warehouse Clerk/Administrator

    Location: Richmond

    Department: Warehouse Operations

    Reports To: Warehouse Manager

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk/Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in warehouse management software, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and manage inventory discrepancies.
    • Order Processing: Receive and process incoming orders, prepare and pack orders for shipment, and ensure timely dispatch.
    • Data Entry: Accurately enter and update inventory data, shipment details, and order information in the warehouse management system.
    • Customer Service: Communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, and any issues that may arise.
    • Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, verify the accuracy of shipments, and inspect goods for damage.
    • Administrative Tasks: Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and reports. Maintain organized files and records of warehouse activities.
    • Coordination: Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure seamless operations.
    • Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
    • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or administrative role is preferred.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

    Working Conditions:

    • Environment: Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
    • Schedule: Full-time position with regular working hours; occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
