    Additional Details:

    • Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
    • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
    • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

    Description :

    • Development of iOS applications and their integration with backend services.
    • You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
    • Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and build ecommerce applications for the iOS platform
    • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
    • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
    • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
    • Lead and mentor junior developers

    What are the top 3 skills needed/ required?

    • Expert Swift and ObjectiveC skills
    • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
    • Experience using GitHub
    • Unit testing best practices and patterns

    What makes a candidate profile stand out to you?

    • Experience with Caching, logging, performance tuning, and monitoring CI/CD systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins

    What will this person's daytoday responsibilities be?

    • daily standup meeting, independent work on tickets/issues, code reviews, sprint review, retro and planning meetings
    • design meetings.

    What is the project this person will be working on? How will they contribute to the project?

    • Glass migration effort for Account area

    What is the makeup of the team?

    • We have 5 Orchestration and Site UI engineers, 2 Android and 2 iOS engineers

    Do they need to be in a certain location/ hub or remote?

    • 1 or 2 days in office is required to have good sync up with rest of the team

    Does this contract have the opportunity to extend or convert to an FTE?

    • Yes, convert to FTE is possible based on performance

    Who will conduct the technical touch bases?

    • Other staff iOS engineers will conduct interviews

    Do you have preferences on days/ times for these calls?

    • Mostly it will happen between 9 am 5 pm pst time zone

    Have you previously sourced for this role?

    • Yes

    If so, where have candidates historically fallen short?

    • We have issues with candidates performance and completion of task on time

    Locations:

    • Sunnyvale (priority)
    • San Bruno (considered)
    • Dallas (last resort)
    • No other locations or fully remote to be considered
