- Review of quarterly and annual domestic tax provision calculations under ASC 740
- Consolidation and reporting of global tax provision calculations and review of financial statement disclosures
- Review of the Company's consolidated U.S. income tax return and state & local income tax filings
- Review of estimated tax payments
- Research and documentation of the Company's tax positions
- Responses to ad hoc income tax requests
- Documentation of internal controls throughout the year
- Identification and implementation of process improvements and technological expedients
- Assist with U.S. international and non-U.S. tax filings and tax provisions
- Assistance with special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA or advanced degree
- 6+ years of U.S. domestic corporate income tax experience gained through working in a corporate tax department or accounting firm
- Knowledge and experience with accounting for income taxes under ASC 740
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Works well with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Highly self-motivated; organized; takes initiative; identifies and addresses issues; detail-oriented
- Strong technology skills including Excel, SAP, OneSource Income Tax & OneSource Tax Provision, and an ability to learn and apply technology
- Interest in automation and using tools including Alteryx and RPA to further improve existing workstreams and processes

The Tax Manager is a key member of the DNOW tax team: responsible for the Company's U.S. federal and state income tax positions throughout the tax life cycle - projects, planning, provision, and compliance. The Tax Manager will apply technical tax expertise, accounting experience, people skills, and project management abilities to accomplish the Company's strategic tax goals that directly affect shareholder value.
