ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:_
  • Be a role model for safety. Promote a zeroinjury safety culture. Collaboratively find ways to continuously reduce risks and drive actions for resolution.
  • Work closely with EH&S and other functional teams to ensure environmental, health, and safety processes are executed and improved upon.
  • Actively engage as a member of the plant leadership team in support of the company and plant's strategic initiatives.
  • Develop the maintenance staff and technicians to strengthen leadership, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Lead the maintenance organization to drive uptime, reliability, and yield performance across the site.
  • Manage and lead the ongoing training of the maintenance team to ensure the right skills are maintained and continue to evolve with changing technology.
  • Actively engage in weekly and monthly prioritization and help facilitate more complex troubleshooting with operations and engineering resources.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and monthly spend in close collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Partner with the engineering and operations team for the planning and execution of capital projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:


  • Able to be perceptive and have a strong awareness of surroundings to identify potential risks and communicate these risks to employees
  • Successful track record of achieving plant operational goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and implementation of process improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma
  • Experience driving and supporting innovative manufacturing systems
  • Experience supporting and implementing organization development and human resources initiatives
  • Business knowledge of budget, asset and cost structure management
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to demonstrate practical problemsolving skills
  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability and willingness to work core hours to support the needs of different shifts

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Mechanical Engineering degree, Electrical Engineering degree or related engineering field; Bachelor's or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing a maintenance function within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated results developing and growing a team.
  • Knowledge of precision, preventive, and predictive maintenance processes (vibration analysis, thermal imaging, laser alignment)
  • Skills with process improvement techniques and tools.
  • Advanced degree or technical certifications
  • CMMS experience
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
  • Positive and Verifiable Work History
  • Must follow safety guidelines and wear applicable safety equipment, e.g., safety glasses, side shields, approved safety shoes, and other PPE as needed
