    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionOVERVIEWCadrex is searching for a Press Brake Operator I to set-up and operate metal bending machines (Press Brake) in accordance with quality/quantity standards.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designerPerform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designerPerform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results)

    Identify different types of material
    • Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Paint Grip, Galvanneal, and GalvanizedUphold site efficiency standardsLearn and demonstrate continuous improvement for site Safety and Quality standards and proceduresMeet the standards of the site attendance policyAssist in other work areas as assigned RequirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructionsKnowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionEDUCATIONHigh School diploma.

    • Chippewa Falls, WISCHEDULEMon-Thurs, 6:00 am 4:30 pmWORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
    The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear.

    The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
