This position will be trained in a variety of work areas to operate machinery and produce metal parts in accordance with quality/quantity standards.
Work Schedule:
2nd Shift:
Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am with a $2.50 shift differential
Weekend Shift:
Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm with a $2.00 shift differential
Responsibilities:
Operate a press brake machine to bend sheet metal into desired shapes and angles.
Recall programs and load correct tooling on multiple machines Demonstrate angle measurements and corrections Demonstrate bend leg measurements and adjustments Ability to read and role basic blueprints Demonstrate proper bend sequencing Be able to meet production rates Perform quality checks as directed Clean and prep work areas Complete safety and equipment inspections Perform typical laser cutting operations.
Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures. Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. Make proper set-ups for cutting operations. Perform prescribed maintenance as required. Perform all dimensional inspections. Work at different workstations as production needs require.Package parts Other duties as assignedCORE COMPETENCIES:

Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-5 years recent, relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Press Brake operation experience preferred Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling Ability to read calipers and micrometers Ability to read and understand machine blueprints Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling preferred.
