The Theater Regensburg is currently seeking a Men's Costume Master (m/f/d) to join our team in Bingham, IL.


About the Theater:


The Theater Regensburg is a municipal enterprise (AdöR) of the city of Regensburg and the largest municipal multi-genre theater in Bavaria.

We offer a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary productions in music theater, drama, dance, and puppet theater on our stages at the Theater am Bismarckplatz and the Theater im Antoniushaus, as well as smaller venues such as the Theater am Haidplatz and the Young Theater at the House of Music.

With approximately 700 performances per year, we reach around 180,000 spectators in our five venues, which are regularly supplemented by unique outdoor locations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Creating and cutting costumes from all eras
  • Supervising the men's tailors
  • Coordinating and overseeing costume production (planning and scheduling completion)
  • Quality control
  • Participating in costume fittings
  • Attending final rehearsals and associated evening and weekend shifts
  • Oncall availability according to the schedule

We expect:

  • Completed training as a master tailor or costume master in the men's tailoring field
  • Extensive knowledge of materials and styles
