Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients. This position requires strong caregiving skills, knowledge of medical systems, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.

Duties:

Perform various medical procedures and tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals
Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (Cerner)
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients
Assist with medical equipment maintenance and inventory management
Provide support in emergency situations and follow established protocols
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient comfort and wellbeing
Knowledge of medical systems and procedures
Familiarity with hospital protocols and practices
Ability to provide effective patient care in memory care settings
Proficient in anatomy knowledge for accurate assessment and treatment
Experience with electronic medical record systems, such as Cerner
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and medication administration
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
