- Responsible for procuring final resolution of all patients owed balances.
- Responsible for communication of incorrect filing issues that result in coverage being denied to the physician, Office staff and Administration to alleviate future denials.
- Responsible for all inquiries regarding aged patient accounts receivable balances by patients whether orally or in writing.
- Responsible for the collection activity in accordance with the Corporate Financial Policy.
- Responsible for meeting the production and quality standards as set for this position.
- Responsible for providing appropriate documentation to support write-offs, transfers to collection agency, and adjustments to all accounts.
- Responsible for knowledge of all third party compliance, regulatory rules, and filing requirements.
- Responsible for cross training with other positions within the Central Billing Operations as designated by management.
- Responsible for adhering to the Corporate Confidentiality Policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in collection of medical accounts receivables
- Knowledge of all third party payer regulations, and compliance policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent
