Choice Canning Company is a leading frozen skillet meal and seafoods manufacturer with a long history of delighting customers with our Tastee Choice and private label brands for many "A" list clients.

_growing company_ located in Pittston, Pa and currently we are looking to grow our Team and have opportunities available to the right people.

We are looking to build a team of quality hands on leaders.

Individuals who have experience supervising / managing small groups of employees and have what it take to get the job done.

Experience in food manufacturing is helpful but not necessary, we can train you in the field, you just need to bring the drive.

The primary tasks will include but are not limited to:

Monitor the production process, make periodic checks and adjust equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures. Ensure that a high quality of products, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.
Promptly escalate issues related to production, quality, safety, or productivity to the Production Manager.
Manage overall product and packaging quality to ensure all standards and specifications are maintained.
Assist with development and training of associates for quality control and safety as requested.
Provide recommendations of specifications, inspections, safety, production, and quality processes

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience preferably in a manufacturing environment; experience in the food industry is a plus but not necessary.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports and production documents.
Knowledge of Windows: Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer and production software programs.
Valid driver's license.
Strong communication and people skills.
