Position Summary:


The Clinic Manager will supervise all services (clinical and administrative designated staff and programs) in assigned clinic to assure the service quality adheres to Enki and Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health policies and procedures.


Core Duties And Responsibilities:


  • Monitor program/clinic site service quality.
  • Coordinate with the Directors on a routine basis to assist in program development and implementation.
  • Assist in the development of programs which are relevant to the target population?s clinical needs and assure delivery of service is consistent with the program?s design.
  • Plan projects and monitor units of service to meet contract projections and to provide cost effective service.
  • Implement Enki?s policies and procedures and guidelines relevant to the clinic.
  • Assist in the development of resolutions for problem issues, which may arise at clinic site.
  • Organize and facilitate staff meetings and management meetings.
  • Assure that clients admitted to clinic require the level of care under programs offered.
  • Assure that the treatment received by clients at the clinic reflects the input of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Organize, direct and support interagency relationships with the different health and social services agencies.
  • Inform senior management of significant administrative, clinical and/or personnel issues and obtain assistance or consultation as needed.
  • Monitor and supervise Site Administrator and all Clinical Unit Supervisors at assigned clinic.
  • Assist in the planning and coordinating of service delivery with the Department of Mental Health and Service Area Providers.
  • Respond to requests by county, state and federal agencies to comply with policy and procedure mandates at site in accordance with Enki policies.
  • Evaluate staffing needs and make recommendations to meet the needs of the clinic. Participate in the recruiting, interviewing and selection of professional/paraprofessional staff.
  • Perform emergency evaluations in accordance with agency policies and procedure when necessary.
  • Attend and represent agency at relevant Service Area and Department of Mental Health meetings as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education And Experience Preferred:


  • Master's Degree or above in a related field.
  • Two (2) years administrative experience supervising a multidisciplinary team in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health policies and procedures.
  • Three (3) years clinical experience working with chronically mentally ill population.
  • Completion of BBS Supervision Course.
  • 5150 Designated by Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.

Licenses/Certifications:


  • Licensed or license eligible MFT, LCSW, LPCC, Ph.
D. or Psy.
D. with supervised clinical experience (i.e. providing individual, group and family treatment) under supervision and registered with the State Board.

  • Valid California driver?s license, current automobile insurance, and eligibility to drive for the Company.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:


  • Ability to perform in a positive, courteous, flexible and adaptive manner.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
  • Computer literate and experienced with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience using Exym and/or other Electronic Medical Healty Record databases is a plus.
  • Must be able to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly, both orally and written.
  • Possesses excellent organizational skills and must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
  • Understand materials such as correspondence, reports, rules and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of business and administrative procedures.

Physical Requirements:


  • See well enough (with or without corrected vision) to read fine print, handwritten materials, and a computer screen.
  • Speak and hear well enough (with or without assistive device) to converse in person and by telephone.
  • Finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms, including ability to use a computer keyboard.
  • Have the mobility (with or without assistive device) to stand, sit, crouch, and move from one work area to another.
  • Have the strength to lift, carry or push office equipment and supplies used in normal job functions up to 20 lbs.
  • Stamina to effectively perform work activities.

Pay Range:
$85,000-$120,000/Year (Determined by Experience & Qualifications)
